Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Supervisor
Want to increase access to quality behavioral healthcare? We’re looking for an experienced and determined Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Supervisor to join our team. The Behavioral Health Community Services (BHCS) division of Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA) provides treatment and support in the community where people work and live. This position is located in the greater New Orleans area in Elmwood, LA.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the FFT staff and ensure successful program outcomes
- Monitor, educate, and consult clinical team regarding delivery of services
- Oversee and review staff schedules to ensure productivity and billing standards are met
- Collect data and complete reports and documentation
- Track service recipient records to ensure timely documentation per accreditation standards and other requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and referral sources, including attending various meetings on weekly and monthly bases
- Provide direct services, including performing assessments and evaluations, carrying a caseload of 3-5 cases, transporting service recipients in agency vehicles, and completing service and clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, or related field
- Three years of experience providing mental health treatment
- Willingness and ability to work in the community
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively at different levels with different audiences
- Willingness to work in the community rather than a traditional office setting
- Ability to work outside of typical 9-5 hour work day, as needed
- Familiarity with principles of trauma-informed care
- Ability to work in a culturally competent way and consistently treat all with dignity and respect
- Great time management with organizational skills required to set priorities and manage workload
- Experience with EHRs
