JPHSA SERVICES:
Access to Services
Access serves as the single point of entry to JPHSA programs. As the gateway to JPHSA, Access:

Links individuals and families to Behavioral Health and Developmental
Disabilities services and supports;

Provides initial screening and evaluation to determine if an individual is
eligible for JPHSA services;

Admits eligible individuals to JPHSA service areas;

Provides information and referral to other resources if an individual is not
eligible to receive JPHSA services;

Provides urgent psychiatric intervention for adults; and,
-
Serves as the Single Point of Entry (SPOE) for local parish inpatient
psychiatric units.
Appointments are not needed but are available. West Bank residents may call 504-349-8833, and East Bank residents may call 504-838-5257, Monday thru Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. "Walk-ins" are seen between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
